Intermediate Dance Program Jan 19-23

During the week of January 19, our Grade 7 & 8 students will be participating in dance workshops, led by professional dance artists.  Last year, they learned and performed musical theatre.  This year, each class will be learning a different form of dance,  culminating in a performance piece.  Thanks to Lauren Miller and our Arts Team for organizing our musical arts experiences this year.  Because the gym will be in use for the dance program, students in other classes need to come prepared to be outside for their gym periods.  Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather with boots, mittens, hats, scarves, snow pants and warm jackets.  In the case of inclement weather, students will be inside.

REMINDER: Kindergarten Registration begins January 16

REMINDER: Children who turn four or five years old during 2015, live within the school boundary and whose parents are public school tax supporters will be eligible to register for kindergarten.

Parents are reminded to bring the following documentation when registering:

- Proof of date of birth (Birth certificate or passport)

This year, Mr. Dan Grant and a team of students are creating a yearbook that will include the full school. Each class will be represented in the yearbook, as well as teams, clubs, activities and events throughout the year.  The cost of the yearbook will likely be $25.00.  Stay tuned for more information.
